Hi there.
I’m Pippa.
Just a little bee with big wings and bigger dreams.
I’m not the fastest.
Or the fluffiest.
And I zigzag more than I fly.
This is the story of the very first time
when I totally, completely, buzzingly messed up.
It was very early in the world.
The third day, to be exact.
When God said,
“Let the earth grow seed-bearing plants.”
And suddenly, the meadows woke up.
Flowers popped open.
Big ones. Tiny ones.
Purple ones. Golden ones.
And buzzing above them—was me.
I wasn’t trying to do anything important.
Just looking for nectar, the sweet gift that flowers share.
I landed on a big, sunny flower named Leo. He was covered in golden dust—pollen, he called it.
“Take all you need, little bee!” he said. So I did.
It stuck to my legs like sparkly crumbs.
Then I spotted Daisy across the field—tall, glowing, and gentle. She looked so kind. I landed softly.
She gave me sweet nectar. I gave her Leo’s pollen.
“Oh, Pippa,” she said kindly, “That pollen’s not quite right. I need some from a flower like me.”
My little bee heart sank.
“Oh,” I whispered. “I messed up.”
I wobbled off, feeling squishy and sad.
Maybe I wasn’t cut out for this bee stuff.
Then I heard a voice.
“Hello there, little bee!”
It was Flora—a flower just like Leo. She had bright yellow petals and a big, happy smile. “You found me!” she said.
I gave her Leo’s pollen. Some of it was still stuck to my legs. Flora gave a little wiggle—like a happy dance.
And then, something tiny happened inside her.
A seed began to grow.
I didn’t plan it. I just showed up. But somehow, it worked.
Later, older bees told me this:
🌀 Wind spread pollen pretty random.
🐝 Bees do it one flower kind at a time.
🌱 We carry up to 15,000 pollen a day.
🦋 Birds, bats, and other bugs help, too!
🎭 Bee orchids trick us. They dress like us, smell like us—but forget the nectar!
That was my very first big adventure.
It didn’t all go to plan—but something good still happened. Pollination can be tricky.
But even a small bee like me can help things grow. And guess what? We help with one out of every three bites of food you eat.
Not bad for a fuzzy little buzzball! 🐝

Yet, at the end of the day, it is Jehovah
who “abundantly supplies seed.”
